OK, by the time you’re seeing this post, I realize that Halloween was over a week ago. Sorry about that. I thought about just saving it for next year, but the thoguht of waiting like 350 days to post this delicious snack would just be too criminal. And Halloween as it is, it can easily be converted to any holiday – use red and green M&Ms and red or green candy melts for Reindeer Bait, or pastels for Eastertime (Bunny Bait?).
This is one of those perfect salty and sweet snacks. Which makes it wildly addictive. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Monster Munch (Halloween/Christmas/Easter popcorn mix)
As seen on Smells Like Home, originally from Our Best Bites
1 package almond bark or 1 bag of Wilton candy melts (white or colored)
12 cups popped popcorn
1 cup candy corn
1 cup dry roasted peanuts
1 cup M&Ms
Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Melt chocolate according to package directions.
Working in 2 batches, place half of popcorn in a very large bowl. Add half of candy corn, peanuts, and M&Ms. Pour half of melted chocolate over the top, and stir to coat. Spread onto baking sheet and let stand for 30 minutes before breaking into chunks. Repeat with second half of ingredients.
Enjoy!
